5 nights of accommodation 3 boat dives daily, unlimited shore dives. Unused portion of the dives are not refundable and not transferable. Resort

Layang Layang Island Resort is a modest three-star resort with 76 superior rooms and 10 deluxe rooms. Its tropical hardwood structures and the likeness of a traditional Longhouse exudes an unparalleled sense of hospitality and warmth. Rooms are fully air-conditioned and furnished with the best of basic facilities. Guests would also be impressed by the extensive variety of east meets west cuisine that was spread out every meal at the in-house restaurant. Each day will present a new exciting array of dishes to ensuring you will never get bored with the food here. Fresh water for the resort comes from a desalination plant which offers crystal clear waters.

Walking	Bird watching - Situated on the Bird Island within the lagoon is a bird sanctuary where migratory swallow, egret, brown foot bobbi, crested terns and other feathered creatures find a resting place on a predator free breeding ground after a long journey.

Dive Operation

Due to the remoteness of the island, strict policies have to be adhered to, to minimise incidents. All divers must agree to the strict Environmental Conservation Programme set-up by the Dive Centre and are required to sign a Reef Conservation Policy prior to diving.

Operation information

There will be two dives on the day of arrival, three dives on subsequent days until the day before departure where you will do only one dive.

Equipment rental

Available items for rental include BCD, Wet Suit, Regulator, Torch, Tank, Weights, weight belt, fins,digital camera plus housing, booties,dive computer, mask, snorkel, safety sausage.

Boat Type

There are 10 Catamaran to bring divers to the any dive site within 10-30 minutes,

Service Level

The dive operation is a certified PADI dive centre headed by qualified instructors with vast experience in running professional dive operations. A team of 6 dive masters/ instructors who had logged hundreds of dives in Layang Layang will assist with the daily scheduled dive trips.

Dive Facilities

There are 300 80cu.ft. aluminium tanks, Bauer KAP180 compressors, 20 sets of BCDs and regulators for rental.

PADI dive courses up to Dive master level are conducted.

Dive Site

In the middle of ancient South China Sea, 300 kilometers North West off the coast of Sabah, Layang Layang lays like a beautiful emerald kissed by the sun and teased playfully by the winds. It is an atoll 14 sq. km. in diameter jutting 2000 metres from the ocean depths. In 1985, the Malaysian Federal Government began reclamation works and created a 50-acre island on one part of the reef. Thus, what is ardently known to East Malaysians as "Terumbu Layang Layang" or "Swallow's Reef" has now become Layang Layang Island. Time and tide has linked 13 coral reefs to form a languid lagoon with just a fraction of it breaking the calm surface of the sea. This atoll is also the home to one of the most coveted diving sites in the world.

Dive Sites Condition

With an average visibility of 30 to 50 metres, you can be assured of an amazing scuba diving experience here. The sea floor, right off the edge of the isle drops down to 2000 metres. Venturing below the surface of the sparkling blue, one will discover nature's most fascinating architecture as well as habitats of luxuriously, vibrant colours. Largely unexplored, much of Layang Layang has never been seen before.

Accessibility

Dive sites are accessible within 10 - 30 minutes from the resort by catamaran.

Marine Life

The reefs here harbour many new life forms, species yet to be identified, yet to be named. Fishes of every kind of colour darting in and out of delicate pastel corals are a common sight in this underwater playground. Armed with the spirit of exploration, many divers from all over the world have discovered this jewel in the blue wilderness. It is no wonder why Layang Layang is placed at the top of their lists for the best diving spot.

Moderate to swift currents. Water temperature ranges from 27 - 30 degrees Celsius & the resort operates from February to October only.

Served by major airlines flying into Kuala Lumpur International Airport in Sepang with domestic flights connecting the various towns & cities before heading to the port of disembarkation to the islands. Major roads & highways also serve the north to south & east to west of the peninsula. Visitors must be in possession of a current passport or other internationally recognised travel document. They must be endorsed for traveling to Malaysia and have a period of validity of at least six months beyond the time of stay allowed in Malaysia. No visas are required for citizens of British Commonwealth countries (except India), British Protected persons, and citizens of the Republic of Ireland, Liechtenstein, the Netherlands, San Marino, Switzerland and the United States (for social, business or academic purposes only). No visas are required for stays not exceeding three months for citizens of: Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Italy, Japan, Luxemburg, Norway, South Korea, Sweden, Tunesia, U.S.A. , France and Germany (except for local employment).

A deposit of 80% of the total tour fare must be collect once booking confirmed.

Full payment must be settled one month before the departure.

Amendment and Changes:

Strictly NO amendment and changes is allowed once payment is made.

Amendment of Name or, Change of Flight Timing or, Change of Departure Date.

Deposit of Full Payment:

Once a deposit or full payment made is non-refundable.

Flight Scheduled & Confirmation:

All the flight scheduled & confirmation will be advised by Air Asia upon payment made.

Booking and Confirmation:

All the flight scheduled & confirmation is based on First Come First Served basis

Group Booking:

Not applicable for group booking.

IC and Passport Particulars:

Photocopy and particular of the I/C and passport details is requires once booking made.

Original I/C of the I/C and passport(validity 6 months - International sector) is a must for check-in procedure.

The company reserves the right to cancel or withdraw at any time booking made by or on behalf of Tour Members prior to departure due to insufficient group size or for any reason whatsoever. The decision of the Company shall be final and conclusive and no liabilities whatsoever shall be incurred by the company for such cancellation. All monies paid toward booking fees shall be refunded.

Travel Insurance:

All passengers are recommended to purchase a travel insurance scheme.

The company and/or its associated agents act only as an agents for the transportation companies. hotel contractions and other principals. and tickets, vouchers and documents' are issued subject to those terms and contracts under which these services are provided.

Every person participating in any tour or holiday organised by the company and/or its, associated agents shall be at his/her own risk. The company and/or as associated agents shall not be held liable to any person as a result of the following.

Additional expenses due to delays or changes in any transport services, sickness, weather, sticker, ear, quarantine or other causes.

Inaccuracy misdescription of charges to any tour and its itinerary.

In the case of triple sharing a roll-away bed will be provided for the third person.

Tours will be operated on a sit-in-coach basis, when and where circumstances deem necessary.
